Calcium Stearate, water retaining agent. Acts like a plasticiser with lime mortars: reduces the amount of water required to make lime mortars flow freely. Maximum of 40 gms per 25 kilos of mortar. 1 kilo of Calcium Stearate is sufficient for 25 25 kilo mixes. Minimum order of 2 kilos.
Calcium stearate also improves the resistance of lime mortar to frost damage.
